However, this extensive cloud usage has made Australia a top target for malware delivery via the cloud, accounting for 64% of all delivery methods, exceeding the global average of 56%. Notably, OneDrive and SharePoint are common sources of malicious payloads. Legacy security systems are often ill-equipped to defend against these threats, highlighting the need for enhanced monitoring and detection capabilities for cloud applications.
