Data Breaches: Compliance Obligations Under The Nigerian Data Protection Act 2023 – Data Protection

Data breaches have increased by 64% in Nigeria’s digital economy, a rise driven by a population of over 200 million people. Non-compliance with NDPA’s obligations can lead to fines, criminal prosecution of senior officers, and reputational damage.
