Users of Bitwarden password manager need to be cautious of a malware named ZenRAT posing as fake Bitwarden installation packages. Identified by Proofpoint researchers, it appears to only affect Windows users, who are tricked into downloading the malware from a site almost identical to Bitwarden’s. The malware collects host data, including CPU and GPU names, installed applications, and IP address. Yet, it is still unclear how users are directed to the fake Bitwarden site.
