ASPM Is Good, But It’s Not a Cure-All for App Security

Application security posture management (ASPM) enhances software application security by identifying, classifying, and mitigating vulnerabilities across the application’s life cycle. However, it is not a full solution and has limitations including complexity, cost, alert overload, scope, and inability to entirely eliminate vulnerabilities. ASPM does not replace the need for secure development practices, API security, threat modeling, or penetration testing.
