Researchers led by the University of Oxford, together with Carnegie Mellon University, have developed a new steganography algorithm that perfectly conceals sensitive information within innocuous content, making it impossible to detect. The technology may be used in digital communications, including social media and private messaging, and may also assist organizations or individuals in need of secure information transfer. The team will offer a free license for non-commercial, responsible use and intends to present their research at the 2023 International Conference on Learning Representations.
