UPMC, a renowned medical center, has reported that the number of employees affected by a recent data breach is much higher than originally stated. Initially, it was reported that 322 employees had their tax information stolen, but UPMC now believes that almost 27,000 of their total 62,000 employees may be victims of the breach.
