The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has launched a project to improve the quality of care for veterans by allowing care providers to access clinical information through Western New York’s clinical information exchange, HEALTHeLINK. This program aims to create a comprehensive medical record for all veterans and eliminate the need for paper copies of health records. The program allows VA healthcare teams and community providers to access laboratory, radiology, transcribed reports, and medication history.
