The UK National Health Service is still struggling to recover from the massive WannaCry ransomware attack. Routine surgeries and GP appointments have been cancelled, and some surgeries are using paper-based records while electronic systems come back online. 16 of the 47 affected trusts are still experiencing issues, causing further delays and cancellations. The NHS has been warned of cyberattack threats and the government is investing £50m to improve cybersecurity. Patients are being advised to choose the right service for their needs and only attend A&E if necessary.
