Two hospital system groups, Harris Health System and HCA Healthcare, have reported cybersecurity breaches where confidential patient information (including addresses, dates of birth, and ID numbers) was leaked. Both have reacted by stepping up their security procedures, notifying affected patients and offering credit monitoring and identity theft protection services.
