The committee, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean, will assess data collection and protection measures, both by public sector agencies and third-party vendors. The review is in response to a series of data-related incidents, including unauthorised access to the personal information of 800,000 blood donors. The committee will submit its recommendations by November 30.
