Indiana University building a medical device security lab with TRIMEDX

Indiana University Health is partnering with TRIMEDX to establish a cybersecurity lab that will evaluate and test the security of medical devices. The lab will focus on identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring operational safety, aiming to eventually share its capabilities with other healthcare systems. The collaboration comes as hospitals face increasing cyber threats, with almost 70% of medical devices projected to be connected by 2025.
