The MOVEit hack could potentially earn the Cl0p ransomware gang up to $100 million, according to ransomware recovery firm Coveware. It noted that while only a small percentage of victims have paid the ransom, those who did paid a significantly higher amount than the global average. Anti-malware firm Emsisoft, which is tracking the hack, so far counted nearly 400 victims, both direct and indirect. The data breach has potentially affected over 20 million individuals.
