95% of Mobile Apps fail the OWASP MASVS Industry Standard for Mobile Security Finds NowSecure Industry Benchmark

Mobile security firm NowSecure claims 95% of the 6,500 popular mobile apps they tested failed to meet the OWASP Mobile Application Security Verification Standard (MASVS), the globally recognised benchmark for app security. The firm also reported high failure rates across seven categories, including network security and coding practices. NowSecure advises developers to review security practices and consider a more rigorous approach to secure mobile apps from potential breaches.
