Comcast Business’ inaugural Cybersecurity Threat Report reveals that 67% of all breaches begin with a user clicking on what appears to be a safe link, prompting adversaries to start 80-95% of all attacks with a phish. The highest number of targeted vulnerabilities were through remote desktop use but the Apache Log4j vulnerability also posed a high threat, leaving 72% of organizations vulnerable. The report advocates for regular system updates and suggests areas such as education, finance, and healthcare are the most at risk.
