750,000 Patients’ Medical Records Exposed After Data Breach at French

A French hospital has experienced a cyber attack, exposing the medical records of over 750,000 patients. The hacker behind the attack breached the Mediboard patient record system, gaining unauthorised access through stolen login credentials. The stolen patient data includes full names, addresses, physician details, prescription histories and health card usage information. Despite the hacker offering the data for sale, there is currently no evidence that it has been purchased. However, the risk of the data being leaked online remains.
