60% of NHS staff want more cyber security training, finds study

A BT survey has shown that while 94% of NHS staff understand their part in protecting against cyber attacks, only 36% see current measures as adequate. Despite more training on new technologies, practical applications are lacking, with 60% of frontline workers calling for heightened cyber security measures. Public confidence in data security is also dwindling, with 56% of UK citizens fearing exposure of patient data. Outdated systems further prevent data from being effectively utilised.
