Apple may face a ban on importing certain smartwatches into the US due to a patent infringement ruling from the International Trade Commission (ITC). The ban could take effect a day after Christmas due to the dispute with medical technology firm Masimo over the blood-oxygen monitoring capabilities of the Apple Watch Series 6. The Biden administration has 60 days to decide whether to veto the ban.
