Three healthcare organizations in California, Alabama, and Colorado were victim to a series of cyberattacks that compromised the sensitive information of over 1.2 million individuals. The most significant of these breaches took place at NorthBay Healthcare, where more than 569,000 patients’ data was compromised. Alabama’s River Region Cardiology and Colorado’s Delta Health also fell victim to these attacks, which are part of an increasing trend of cybercriminals targeting healthcare providers.
