The cybersecurity incident, which went unnoticed for nine months, exposed customer data including names, email addresses, payment card details, and website credentials. The company has increased monitoring, improved security controls, and reinforced its systems in response. The breach is an example of a “Magecart” attack, a form of e-skimming that cybercriminals are increasingly using to steal data from e-commerce platforms.
