13 hospitals, health systems hit with rating downgrades

US healthcare systems have recently been hit by downgrades amid financial and operational challenges, including Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, Kuakini Health System, St. Luke’s Duluth, MultiCare Health System, and Oroville Hospital. Others afflicted include Catholic Medical Center, Nuvance Health, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Guthrie Clinic, Reid Health, Wise Health System, Tower Health, Tufts Medicine, and Ascension. Many facilities have been downgraded multiple notches, with outlooks predominantly negative or stable.
