HCA Healthcare has suffered a significant data breach, impacting around 11 million patients. Personal information was posted online by an unauthorized party, however, no clinical or sensitive data was included. HCA has reported the incident to law enforcement and currently believes the breach is due to a third-party compromise. Despite the incident, the healthcare provider’s day-to-day operations remain unaffected.
