Neal Sample has been appointed as the executive vice president (EVP) and chief information officer (CIO) at Walgreens Boots Alliance, with oversight of IT implementation, digital innovation, and its strategy to advance healthcare delivery. Sample replaces former CIO Hsiao Wang and will join the company’s executive and IT governance committees.
