Payroll services provider UKG is set to settle a class-action lawsuit for up to $6m following a 2021 ransomware attack on its cloud service that affected firms like Tesla and Whole Foods. The lawsuits, levelling claims around negligence, contract breach, and privacy law violations, mean those impacted by the attack could receive up to $7,500 each.
