President-elect Donald Trump has appointed Rudy Giuliani, former New York mayor and CEO of Giuliani Security & Safety, as an informal cybersecurity advisor. Giuliani will act as a personal advisor to Trump to find solutions to cyber threats in the private sector, while providing recommendations for possible governmental reactions. Trump also plans to meet with senior corporate executives who have faced or are currently facing cybersecurity challenges.
