Tenet Healthcare beats expectations on growth in ambulatory and acute services

Tenet Healthcare beat Q3 revenue expectations due to cost control measures and sustained growth at its facilities. Posting $5.1bn in net revenue, a rise from $4.8bn from the prior year, this is the third time this year Tenet has increased its financial projections. However, profit declined to $101m from $131m. CEO Saum Sutaria attributes the results to the mixed portfolio and cost containment strategy. Tenet expects full-year revenue between $20.3bn and $20.5bn.
