Sentara Health, a major not-for-profit health system, has undertaken a large-scale cloud migration to enhance efficiency, patient care, and data security. In partnership with cloud security vendor Optafi, Sentara implemented a comprehensive cloud security framework offering secure data processing, anomaly detection, secure data storage, scalability, and data encryption. The cloud migration has resulted in an annual decrease in data center costs of $5.8 million and improved recovery times for mission-critical applications.
