Researchers Uncover 10 Flaws in Google’s File Transfer Tool Quick Share

Ten security flaws have been found in Google’s Quick Share data-transfer utility for Android and Windows, risking a remote code execution chain on systems with Quick Share installed. Nine vulnerabilities concern Windows and one affects Android, spanning denial-of-service issues, unauthorized file bypass and directory traversal. Google has fixed the issues for Quick Share from version 1.0.1724.0.
