US-based software firm Okta has reported malicious activity in which a cyberattacker accessed sensitive files using a stolen credential on Okta’s support case management system. The Auth0/CIC case management system and Okta’s production service remain unaffected by the invasion. Okta states it has informed customers impacted by the breach and taken steps to safeguard their information.
