Around 5,000 Okta employees had their personal and health information exposed due to a breach at third-party vendor Rightway Healthcare. Okta has offered affected employees free identity and credit monitoring services. This incident adds to the recent list of security breaches experienced by the identity and access management company. Some cyber-security experts have questioned Okta’s overall security posture. However, Okta emphasised that the incident didn’t impact its customers and its services remain secure.
