Nuance earnings hurt by Petya cyberattack, some providers still offline

Voice and language tool provider Nuance has said that the recent Petya cyberattack will negatively impact its third quarter earnings. The company expects earnings between 26 cents and 28 cents a share and adjusted revenue of $494m to $498m, both of which are below analyst expectations. Many doctors are still unable to use the company’s transcription services, which is causing further disruption. The company has not disclosed how many clients have been affected by the attack.
