North Korean hackers stole $721 million in cryptocurrency from Japan – Nikkei

North Korean hackers have stolen about $721 million in cryptocurrency from Japan since 2017, accounting for 30% of worldwide losses, according to a report by UK blockchain analysis provider Elliptic. The report follows calls by G7 finance ministers for measures to counter illicit activities by state actors such as the theft of crypto-assets.
