NHS staff to receive free access to Microsoft Teams and Locum’s Nest

Microsoft Teams is being made available to all NHS staff in England and Scotland, allowing for remote working and improved communication during the COVID-19 outbreak. The integration of Teams into NHS Digital’s Secure Boundary security system will make it accessible to all NHSmail users. In addition, Locum’s Nest is offering its shift-matching software to the NHS for free until at least July 2020 to help recruit clinicians on a temporary basis. These technological measures aim to relieve the pressure on NHS staff and improve efficiency.
