Around 60% of healthcare organisations in India have experienced a cyberattack within the past year, with 75% of ransomware attacks resulting in data encryption. Outdated software, poor cybersecurity investments, and inherited systems are making the healthcare sector increasingly vulnerable. A report suggests that Indian organisations are unable to prevent nearly 50% of cyberattacks, this is largely due to the uncoordinated efforts between cybersecurity and IT teams.

T-Mobile has agreed to pay a $15.75 million fine and improve its security in a settlement over a series of data breaches over three years
