Mark Cuban-backed blockchain platform could transform secure messaging

Billionaire Mark Cuban is investing in Radical App, whose Mercury Protocol uses blockchain technology to change the way messages are exchanged, particularly on social media. The protocol aims to provide better privacy protection than existing platforms, as it is less vulnerable to attacks. The platform uses a global messaging token to incentivize user participation and is open-source and platform agnostic, allowing for wider adoption. While there are currently no healthcare use cases for the protocol, it could potentially emerge in the future.
