Internal Chats of a Conti Ransomware Group Exposed

Cybersecurity researchers have delved into leaked internal chat files of Conti Ransomware-as-a-Service (RaaS) to gain insight into its workings. Using machine learning, the researchers analysed 168,711 chats from the Conti network which showed evidence of diverse business discussions and company structure. The Conti RaaS operation, considered a major player in ransomware attacks, is structured similarly to a business, indicating the importance of managerial styles and non-technical dialogue in such cybercrime operations.
