The Georgia-based health plan administrative services firm, NASCO, has reported that a hack on Progress Software’s MOVEit file transfer software caused a major health data breach affecting 805,000 individuals. The firm promptly secured its systems following the attack. It decommissioned the affected server and stopped using MOVEit. NASCO now joins other companies hit by MOVEit breaches and is implementing additional security procedures to strengthen its IT systems.
