An Israeli cybersecurity firm, Security Joes, has discovered a potent new malware believed to be created by Hamas or affiliated hackers. Named BiBi-Linux wiper, the malware can erase and corrupt crucial files in Linux systems, rendering computers inoperable. The malware has been found in several Israeli corporate networks, causing significant damage; representing a significant escalation in the cyber warfare capabilities of Hamas supporters. The malware’s code even includes the nickname of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
