A French hospital’s electronic health record (EHR) system was breached in a cyberattack, compromising data of over 750,000 patients. The group claiming responsibility, known as ‘nears’, has reportedly put the confidential EHRs up for sale on the dark web. The compromised platform, run on Softway Medical’s MediBoard software, was accessed using stolen login credentials.
