The U.S.’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cancelled a vaccine advisory meeting scheduled for 13 March, at which members were set to discuss influenza vaccine strains. The meeting’s cancellation was confirmed by committee member Paul Offit, who said members had been informed via email. The Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee meets every March to decide the flu strains to be targeted in the next vaccine update.
