Fake Job Interviews Used to Spread Crypto-Stealing Malware

A cyber scam targeting job seekers in the Web3 industry has been discovered, orchestrated by Russian group Crazy Evil. The attackers lured victims to fraudulent interviews via a notorious meeting platform called “GrassCall,” which infected devices with malware to steal cryptocurrency wallets and sensitive data. Hundreds of individuals were affected, some losing their entire crypto wallets. In response, a Telegram group was established to help victims remove the malware and strengthen account security.
