Enough is enough: Scots must not be fobbed off again

The alleged deletion of WhatsApp messages relating to Covid by the Scottish National Party (SNP) sparks controversy. Despite assurances that all Covid-related communications would be disclosed, a significant number of messages could have been removed, seemingly based on a rule that deletes such texts after 30 days. The deletion could avoid awkward questions about the SNP’s motives and is seen as a power abuse that requires investigation for potential breaches of the Ministerial Code.
