CMS finalizes 2024 Medicare hospital, doctor payments, 340B fix and price transparency requirements

US regulators updated financial rules for healthcare providers in 2024. Amendments included Medicare reimbursement rate increases of 3.1% for outpatient hospital sites and surgery centres. Family medicine and endocrinology sectors will see a 3% payment rise, while areas facing reductions include interventional radiology and nuclear medicine.
