Security researchers have discovered a new Linux malware dubbed Auto-Color, which employs advanced stealth techniques to sneak past security measures and remain active on infected systems. Mainly targeting universities and government offices in North America and Asia, Auto-Color uses innocent-sounding file names to remain hidden and allows malicious actors full remote access to the compromised system. Once installed, the malware is notably challenging to remove without specialized tools.
