UnitedHealth Group names new CISO 8 months after massive ransomware attack

UnitedHealth Group has named Tim McKnight as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), replacing Steven Martin, who has been appointed as Chief Restoration Officer. The reshuffle comes months after a ransomware attack on subsidiary Change Healthcare, which resulted in major data leaks. It is still unclear whether the leadership reshuffle was undertaken as a reaction to the attack.
