A proactive approach is necessary, including capturing executive support, forming committees, training staff to identify addiction, enabling anonymous reporting, hiring drug diversion specialists, monitoring with behavioral analytics and artificial intelligence, reporting incidents to authorities, offering rehabilitation resources, and continuously improving drug diversion efforts.
